The symposium The Reality of the City. Continuity and Change in Urban Architecture: Lessons from the Seventies has been a collaborative effort between Eindhoven University of Technology and Politecnico di Torino.
The invited architects were asked to explain their relation towards urban reality through their own projects, thereby pointing out specific problems for the theoretical discussion, starting from the cultural heritage of the Seventies.
The symposium featured contributions by: Bernard Colenbrander, Andreas Hild, Hans Kollhoff, Silvia Malcovati, Carlo Moccia, Fritz Neumeyer, Christian Rapp, Uwe Schröder and Luigi Snozzi.
