Potsdam Collective
The starting point for this design of a large-scale residential collective in the courtyard of a building block in Potsdam was to improve the a-generic quality of the city by further developing and strengthening the fragile architectural niche qualities. The answer has been found in a typological development of the locally typical court collective, which originated in the building blocks of the oldest 'Stadterweiterung' in Potsdam. This formed the foundation for the design of a "Potsdam Collective."
